Description
Clinical Case Manager, Intensive Family Empowerment Program
As a Clinical Case Manager in the Intensive Family Empowerment Program, you will provide six to nine months of intensive services to families whose children are either at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. The goals of the program are to prevent out-of-home placement for troubled children, provide a safe environment to return children already in placement, and prevent future out-of-home placement. You will report to the Program Coordinator and will work in a combination of on-site and remote settings with travel to client's homes required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide home and community services to the identified youth and their caregiver as prescribed in the treatment plan for those enrolled in our Family Preservation Services.
- Educate parents and their child in a variety of social-emotional and parenting skills such as communication, discipline, anger management, emotional regulation, attunement, caregiver affect management, decision making, problem-solving, social skill building, budgeting, family and home organization, behavioral management, etc.
- Maintain a caseload of three children.
- Complete and maintain appropriate case records through the completion of intake, assessments, progress notes, reports, etc. following agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements.
- Participate in the comprehensive assessment and creation of the treatment plan for assigned cases to determine and address service needs and ensure the provision of regular treatment plan meetings and service plan reviews.
- Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family courts, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and family as it relates to their treatment.
- You will work Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and a rotating on-call schedule.
Requirements and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field;
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families;
- Home and community-based experience is a plus.

Job Summary | The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences (E&ES) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for one open rank, and one assistant level tenure-track/tenured position, both in Earth Systems Science. Research areas in the E&ES Department currently include experimental, analytical, and environmental geochemistry, petrology of Earth’s systems, biogeochemistry, astrobiology, geomicrobiology, and modern and ancient climate change. We are seeking applicants whose research will complement and grow these strengths, and whose research programs address fundamental problems in Earth Systems science, including, but not limited to: 1. Natural systems and environmental geochemistry, global change, critical zone science, soil science, environmental mineralogy. Lecturer of Biomedical Engineering Position at Union College
The Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at Union College invites applications for a Lecturer of Biomedical Engineering position, beginning Fall 2024. The position is renewable with a contract period of three years. After six years of employment at Union, Lecturers are eligible for promotion to Senior Lecturer with the possibility of contract lengths up to five years. A Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates expecting to complete their doctoral thesis before September 2024 are also welcome to apply. We seek an individual who demonstrates a strong commitment to student-centered undergraduate education, including those with a professional interest in pedagogy. Service duties will include coordinating the Summer Clinical Immersion Program with our local partners, advising our Biomedical Engineering Society student chapter, and coordinating the biomedical engineering seminar series. Although research is not an expectation of this position, the successful candidate will have the option to continue scholarly activity and will have access to College funds and a wide array of advanced instrumentation and facilities. Excellent candidates in all areas of Biomedical Engineering will be considered, but preference will be given to candidates with expertise in biomechanics, biomaterials, and rehabilitation engineering.

Union College is a small and highly selective undergraduate institution with a deep commitment to the creative integration of science and engineering with the humanities and social sciences. Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $81,000 - $84,000. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
